Dan Gunner is Director of Research and Analytics at PEI. Based in London, Mr Gunner leads a global team of researchers and analysts who are responsible for profiling alternative asset investors and fund managers and tracking market developments. The team also produces in-depth research papers focussing on the LP-GP relationship and sentiment across all alternative asset classes, including private equity.

PEI is active in the international asset classes of private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private debt, with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong. Its market-leading publications include Private Equity International, Private Funds Management, PERE, Infrastructure Investor and Private Debt Investor. Wholly owned by management and staff, the company also organises conferences and publishes industry-related books and databases.

Prior to joining PEI in 2010, Mr Gunner was Operations Director at Emap, the London-based publisher. He was responsible for an information and insight service focussing on the workings of the British government and parliament. Mr Gunner holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Politics from the University of Bristol.
