Leonie is Senior Director & Partner at Vauban Infrastructure Partners in the New York office, spearheading Vauban's expansion in the North American market. She is actively involved in strategy, origination and execution of US investments, and in active asset management with a focus on value creation strategies. She brings 25+ years of experience across Europe and the Americas in the energy transition, transportation and digital infrastructure sectors. L'onie participated in the origination and execution of the Cartier Energy transaction, who owns and operates district energy networks in several states of the US. Previously, she was Managing Partner at New York based Latitude Advisory, a firm she co-founded providing infrastructure and energy advisory to public and private sector clients, and served as Senior Advisor at the Rockefeller Foundation in the Global Policy & Advocacy team. Earlier, L'onie spent 15+ years in Project Finance lending and financial advisory at Natixis and Scotiabank, where she successfully originated, structured, and executed complex transactions for infrastructure and energy assets in Europe, the US, and Latin America. She also co-headed and built the higher education and healthcare team at CIFG, a triple-A rated bond insurer in the US Public Finance capital markets.
