NY Green Bank

NY Green Bank, a division of NYSERDA, is a state-sponsored specialized investment fund dedicated to bridging financial gaps in clean energy and renewable infrastructure markets. Our mission is to collaborate with the private sector to transform financing markets, accelerate clean energy investments, combat climate change, and equitably deliver economic and environmental benefits to all New Yorkers. As the largest state green bank in the nation, NY Green Bank has committed over $2.5 billion across various technology segments—including building decarbonization, clean transportation, energy storage, solar, and wind—to advance New York State’s green economy. Our transactions are designed for replication and adoption by the private sector, helping to animate the market and mobilize capital into underserved sectors. These efforts not only close financing gaps but also actively shape a more inclusive and resilient energy market, laying the foundation for a greener future in New York State.
