Petya Nikolova is the Deputy CIO and Head of Infrastructure Investments for New York City Comptroller’s Office. In this role, she contributes to shaping the investment strategy and portfolio construction for the $260 billion New York City Retirement Systems (NYCRS). Ms. Nikolova continues to lead the infrastructure asset class. She is a member of the OCIO and the Investment Committee.

Before joining the Comptroller’s office, Ms. Nikolova was a Director in the Infrastructure Americas team at WestLB, where she originated and structured infrastructure deals across a variety of sectors. Prior to that, Ms. Nikolova held various capital markets roles at Bank of Ireland and MBIA.

Ms. Nikolova holds an MPA from Syracuse University and an MA/BA in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
