
Quynh Tran
Quynh Tran is Deputy Head of Structured Finance, Americas at SMBC, with over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, covering digital infrastructure, transportation, airports, water, power and social infrastructure. Quynh focuses on expanding SMBC's infrastructure platform through serving the financing needs of sponsors and developers for investments in North American assets. Quynh has led the build out of SMBC's coverage of the digital infrastructure sector, with a focus on developing the liquidity pool for this asset class. SMBC is a leading bank in the sector, structuring transactions for greenfield development, portfolio financing, securitizations, JV financing and acquisition financing across product platforms. Prior to SMBC, Quynh was an investment banker at Robertson Stephens where she specialized in the 'e-tail' and 'e-finance' sectors, providing M&A advisory, equity underwriting and equity private placements. Quynh earned a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
