Richard Nordell is Executive Director of Infrastructure at Mubadala Investment Company, where he oversees the firm’s global infrastructure portfolio spanning digital infrastructure, power and utilities, energy transition, and transportation. He is responsible for setting the investment strategy, capital deployment, and driving the performance of the portfolio to support economic growth and long-term value creation.

Richard joined Mubadala in 2014 and has held senior roles across its real assets business, including as Executive Director of Real Estate. In that role, he led the development of a globally diversified portfolio through disciplined capital allocation and strategic partnerships, delivering strong performance across cycles.

With over two decades of international investment experience, Richard has worked across major global markets including the UK, Europe, and the United States, with deep expertise in private equity real estate and investment management.

Prior to joining Mubadala, he was based in London, covering European real estate markets at Revcap Advisors and Knight Frank.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment from the University of Reading. He is also a RICS Chartered Surveyor.
