James has over 15 years of experience across infrastructure, asset management, and institutional investment. At Cbus, James plays a key role in the acquisition and management of direct infrastructure assets, co-investments, and fund investments, contributing to the stewardship of an infrastructure portfolio exceeding A$13 billion. His sector experience spans transport, energy, renewables, and digital infrastructure. Within renewables, James has worked across offshore and onshore wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). He is currently on secondment with one of Cbus’ renewable energy companies, supporting its development team. James has led critical transaction workstreams, contributed to board and advisory committees, and engages regularly with government and industry stakeholders. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, is a CFA Charterholder and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
