Mark is the Head of Infrastructure for Aware Super and has been leading the Infrastructure Sector since he joined in May 2014. He is responsible for overall sector performance, strategy setting, origination, implementation, ongoing asset and portfolio management, team leadership and stakeholder relationships in relation to Aware Super’s global circa A$20 billion infrastructure portfolio. This coverage includes infrastructure and infrastructure-like direct and managed investments.

Prior to Aware Super, Mark was a Project Director at Leighton Contractors responsible for direct equity investments in construction ＆ PPP projects and consortium project leadership. Mark has also been a senior member of the infrastructure team at ABN AMRO and subsequently Babcock ＆ Brown where he was responsible for origination and execution of direct equity and debt investments, ongoing asset management, financial advisory, structuring ＆ arranging roles in Sydney, San Francisco and New York. Mark has also undertaken investment banking roles at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Chase Manhattan Bank covering infrastructure financial advisory, international debt capital markets, foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives.
