Abdel Lazaar
Abdel Lazaar is an investment manager at Crédit Agricole Assurances / Predica within the infrastructure investment team. He’s mainly in charge of CAA’s direct equity energy portfolio (managing c. 2 G€ of AuM o/W 1,4 G€ in the renewable space), both leading deal execution and asset management workstreams. He is currently a Board Director of Hornsea 2 (offshore wind, UK), EF Solare (Solar PV, Italy), Exolum (Storage and transportation of oil products, Spain) and Teréga (storage and transportation of LNG, France).
Prior to joining CAA in 2023, Abdel has a financial consulting background (Audit and Transaction Advisory Services, mainly focusing on deals on the energy space) within EY where he spent 6 years, before joining CDG Invest (main institutional investor in Morocco) as an infrastructure investment officer focusing on water and renewable energies.
Abdel is a civil engineer graduate from Ecole des Mines de St-Etienne and holds an MSc in Finance from Paris Dauphine university. He’s also a French CPA.
