Alberto Ponti
Alberto Ponti joined F2i in 2018 and is currently Senior Partner and Head of Capital Formation and ESG.
He deals with the capital formation process and new products launch, moreover he carries out both sectoral and regulatory analyses and assessments on target companies or companies already held in the portfolio.
Prior to joining F2i, Alberto gained 20 years of experience in London, where he worked as a strategy consultant at LEK Partnership, continuing as an equity analyst, infrastructure sector, with Flemings Securities, CITI and Société Generale. During the London period he oversaw several IPO and M&A transactions such as Snam, Gaz de France, Enagas, and the former Genco of ENEL. Since 2016 Alberto has been Head of Strategy, Market Analysis and M&A at Terna, developing, among others, models for the electrical, energy and commodities scenarios of the Italian and European markets.
He graduated in Political Economy from Bocconi University in Milan. In addition, he attended specialization courses in Finance and Advanced Econometrics at the London School of Economics.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of IGS.
