Andrew Freeman
Andrew is a Partner at CVC DIF and Head of Global Divestments, with more than 23 years of experience in infrastructure investing, value creation, and strategic portfolio realisation. A member of the firm’s Business Executive Committee, Andrew leads CVC DIF’s global divestment function and has one of the strongest exit track records in the sector, having successfully executed and overseen more than 130 divestments across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Australia.
Andrew also leads the set-up and launch of CVC Infra, CVC’s new evergreen infrastructure platform, where he is responsible for developing the strategy, operating model, and investment framework for the firm’s long-term infrastructure offering.
His career spans the full investment lifecycle—origination, structuring, asset management, transformation, and disciplined exit execution—providing a comprehensive perspective on how to drive sustained value across global infrastructure portfolios. Andrew specialises in complex cross-border monetisations, strategic partnerships, and secondary market transactions, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes for investors.
Prior to joining CVC DIF, Andrew worked in the Infrastructure team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising on transactions across transport, energy, digital infrastructure, and essential services. He is a recognised industry speaker on global divestment strategy, value optimisation, and the evolution of long-term infrastructure capital markets.
