Balduin is the CEO / Chairman of Frontier Renewables, a specialist investment manager focused on the energy transition. Balduin oversees the management and investment strategy of the firm and its current value add fund focused on buying, building and operating mid-market solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects across Europe. He has 17+ years experience in the renewable energy industry, having successfully developed, sold and operated projects both in the U.S. and Europe. Based in Madrid, Balduin has lived and worked in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, London, Berlin and Frankfurt. He speaks German, English and Spanish. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a BA from Duke University and MSJ from Northwestern University.
