Head of infrastructure debt , LBP AM European Private Markets

Bérénice Arbona is Head of Infrastructure Debt at LBP AM, a role she has held since 2020. With more than 22 years of experience in project and infrastructure finance, she leads the firm’s infrastructure debt investment strategy, overseeing origination, structuring and portfolio management, and managing a team of six specialists. Her expertise spans core and core+ sectors, with a strong focus on transport, energy transition and impact‑driven projects.

Before joining LBP AM in 2014, she held senior roles at Alstom, Dexia, ASF and Eiffage, contributing to major concession and PPP transactions across Europe and internationally.

A graduate of emlyon business school, she was awarded the Women in Energy Transition Prize in 2023 by Andera Partners and GreenUnivers.

LBP AM European Private Markets 

Launched in 2012, LBP AM’s European private assets platform was renamed LBP AM European Private Markets in 2025. With a team of over 50 people, including 27 dedicated to investment, it helps to accelerate economic and environmental transitions in order to contribute to a more sustainable economy. It now boasts three complementary areas of expertise in European private debt – Infrastructure, Real Estate and Corporate – as well as the Capital Solutions division dedicated to designing and distributing customised solutions. By the end of December 2025, LBP AM European Private Markets had raised nearly €10 billion and invested more than €9 billion in nearly 320 transactions since its inception.
