Carmela Mondino Borromeo is a strategic advisor and business transformation leader, supporting clients across private equity, private infrastructure, and asset management. She works closely with investors and portfolio companies on value creation, M&A, and corporate strategy, drawing on a strong track record of navigating complex business challenges across sectors and geographies.

With over 15 years of experience, Carmela has held senior roles at global firms including TotalEnergies, adidas, and Lonza. Most recently, she served as Head of ESG & Sustainability at Partners Group, a leading private markets investment manager, where she integrated ESG and impact considerations across all investment strategies. Her ability to connect strategic vision with practical execution has made her a trusted partner in driving change and building long-term value.

Carmela holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen. She was recognized in Private Equity International's 40 Under 40: Future Leaders of Private Equity in 2021 and is an active contributor to industry dialogue on sustainable finance and responsible investment.
Originally from Buenos Aires, she now lives in Switzerland with her husband, two children, and their dog. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, dancing, and hiking.
