David Friedlander is the Founder and Managing Director of KTM Infra Consulting LLC, an independent infrastructure advisory firm focused on lower- and mid-market energy and infrastructure investments in North America. He has over 15 years of experience across direct investing, institutional capital allocation, and transaction execution in power, energy transition, environmental infrastructure, and transportation. Prior to founding KTM, David led direct infrastructure equity investments for North America at ITOCHU, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing proprietary investments across energy and real assets. Before that, he served as a senior portfolio manager for the infrastructure allocation at the NYC Pension Fund, allocating to Infra GPs and co-investments. David began his career in physical energy and commodities markets and has worked across the full investment and asset lifecycle; from early-stage development through construction, asset optimization and stabilization to exit. He brings a unique buy-side perspective to moderating discussions, with a focus on capital discipline, risk allocation, and how policy and commodity market shifts translate into real investment decisions.
