Dr. Stefan Weissenböck is the Founder and Managing Partner of infrAM, which he established in late 2023 in Zurich, Switzerland. infrAM supports both GPs and LPs in acquiring and actively managing their infrastructure assets through a fully aligned operating‑partner model.

Before founding infrAM, Stefan was a member of the Management Team and Head of Asset and Portfolio Management at IST3 Infrastruktur Global, an open‑ended Swiss infrastructure strategy with more than CHF 1bn in AuM. He brings 20 years of experience in infrastructure investing across industry, finance, and academia, with a focus on transaction execution, asset management, and long‑term value creation. Stefan holds a master’s degree from the Technical University of Vienna and a doctoral degree from ETH Zurich, where he researched the application of portfolio theory to infrastructure

Combining deep technical expertise with strong financial acumen, we act as an extension of our clients’ organizations – fully aligned, hands‑on, and responsible across the entire investment lifecycle.

We support strategic and financial investors from acquisition and development through to operations, performance optimization, and exit. Our services include board mandates, active stakeholder management, transaction support, construction and commissioning support, and operational value creation. In addition, we work closely with LPs on co‑investments, providing investment analysis as well as ongoing oversight to ensure alignment and long-term performance.
