Headquartered in New York, Wafra has over two dozen clients around the globe and is owned by the Public Institution for Social Security of Kuwait (PIFSS).
We combine creative capital, a collaborative culture and innovative skillsets with a view toward long-term prosperity. Our people contribute across a range of business functions, asset classes and strategies so that every decision benefits from a breadth of experience and diversity of perspectives. We strive to create a culture of humility and respect that ensures everyone benefits from sustainable value created when capital and talent align. It is a mix that gives us the freedom to invest dynamically for the long term with partners around the globe.
Wafra connects asset owners, operating companies and industry stakeholders to foster an exchange of information and ideas in the pursuit of investment excellence.
For over 40 years, Wafra has grown steadily by combining the power of an asset owner’s long-term balance sheet with the agility of a commercial asset manager. We have the ability to move at speed and scale, executing on our own or with one or more strategic partners, and to structure solutions to take advantage of complex opportunities. This gives us the freedom to design investment programs that best fit the opportunity. Keenly aware that client needs and market opportunities change over time, our ability to dynamically invest for the long term will remain constant.
