Eric is responsible for driving the implementation of DEG’s impact and climate strategy within the infrastructure and energy division. With more than 25 years of deep experience in emerging and frontier market investments, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of sector specific decarbonization pathways. Eric has played a leading role in designing and operationalizing Paris alignment approaches for projects and companies, conducting climate risk assessments, and conceptualizing technical assistance programs that support low carbon transitions. He has also been instrumental in developing internal tools that enable DEG to track and manage its own GHG reduction trajectory. His work combines strategic insight with hands on implementation, contributing to tangible climate impact across diverse sectors.
