Gwenola Chambon is the CEO and Founding Partner of Vauban Infrastructure Partners, where she has built and led the firm's equity infrastructure activities for over 15 years. Under her leadership, Vauban has become a multibillion-euro asset manager with a strong international client base. She has overseen fundraising, strategy development, and capital deployment, driving the firm's growth and innovation.
With 30 years of experience in European infrastructure, Gwenola has a deep understanding of the sector, having worked on pioneering PPP projects and strategic acquisitions in areas like digital infrastructure, smart meters, and transport assets. Before founding Vauban, she held senior roles at Galaxy Fund, CFIG, and BNP Paribas. Gwenola serves on the boards of major European infrastructure companies and is active in key industry groups, including the European Commission's Expert Group on Infrastructure and PRI's advisory board. She is responsible for project finance courses in ESSEC's Masters of Complex Financing, and contributes to working groups with EFAMA, AFG, and AFIC. In 2024, she was named Chairwoman of the Infrastructure Commission at France Invest and led Vauban's sponsorship of the Women in Finance Chair at ESCP Business School, underscoring her commitment to diversity and sustainability.
Gwneola is also charwoman of Philarmonie de Paris.
Fluent in French, Spanish, and English, Gwenola holds a Master's in Business from ESCP.
