Hans‑Peter Dohr is the Senior Managing Partner and Founder of ICA Institutional Capital Advisors, a senior-led private markets advisory boutique serving institutional investors and global investment managers across the DACH region. With nearly 40 years of experience spanning investment banking, private markets, and institutional advisory, he is widely regarded as an authority on infrastructure, private debt, real assets, and private equity.

Hans‑Peter began his career at the Austrian State Development Bank, before holding senior investment banking roles at Chase Manhattan Bank, Crédit Lyonnais, Salomon Brothers, and Fox-Pitt, Kelton. He subsequently served as Senior Advisor to the Austrian Minister of Finance, overseeing major privatisations, strategic state participations, and supervisory board mandates across industrial, infrastructure, and banking sectors.

From 2008 to 2015, Hans‑Peter led the advisory practice at DC Placement Advisors, focusing on private markets fundraising and institutional strategy. In 2016, he founded ICA Institutional Capital Advisors, which from 2016 to 2018 acted as the exclusive DACH co‑operation partner of Pavilion Alternatives Group, advising institutional clients on global private markets allocations.

Hans‑Peter has served on the boards of several infrastructure and renewable energy investment platforms, including AI Airports International, International Power, and the Bavarian Airport Group, and is a founding member of the Divershefy Club.

He personally advises leading GPs and fund managers on private markets and infrastructure allocations, providing direct access to highly selective DACH institutional investors and tailored insights into market opportunities, including infrastructure secondaries. This combination of senior-level expertise, deep local relationships, and hands-on advisory makes him a sought-after partner for managers looking to expand or optimise their European investor base.
