Jaime Alvarez-Dominguez leads the Sustainable Infrastructure, Natural Capital, and Private Equity strategies at Brunel Pension Partnership, overseeing private market investments on behalf of 10 UK Local Government Pension Funds. His work focuses on delivering strong financial outcomes while integrating long-term sustainability considerations and aligning with institutional stewardship priorities. Jaime has over 20 years of experience across infrastructure, private equity, and impact investing. Before Brunel, he launched the LSE-listed Schroders BSC Social Impact Trust at Big Society Capital and co-founded infrastructure platforms including Xlinks and Faro Energy. He has worked with multiple energy transition ventures and advised global investors. Earlier in his career, Jaime held investment and advisory roles at Coller Capital, the EBRD, and McKinsey & Co. He holds a joint degree in Law and Economics from ICADE and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Brunel Pension Partnership is one of eight UK Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) investment pools, created to deliver long-term, cost-effective investment outcomes for public sector pension funds. Brunel manages investments on behalf of 10 LGPS clients, representing more than 700,000 members and over '35 billion in assets under management. The partnership offers a full suite of investment solutions across listed and private markets, including infrastructure, private equity, real estate, credit, and public equities. Brunel is recognised for its disciplined portfolio construction, long-term investment horizon, and its commitment to responsible investment ' integrating financial, governance, and sustainability factors in line with client objectives.
