Joe joined PEI Group in October 2024 on a newly created team dedicated to LP / asset owner coverage, based in London. This came after a career spent largely covering institutional investment and sustainable finance in senior writing and editing roles based in London (from 2016 to 2024, for AsianInvestor and Capital Monitor) and Hong Kong (from 2009 to 2015, for AsianInvestor). These posts involved a strong focus on covering LPs/asset owners.

Joe’s journalistic experience also includes working as a writer and chief subeditor for Asia Risk and Energy Risk, titles focused on risk management and derivatives markets. Those roles spanned 2000 to 2009 working in London, then New York, then Hong Kong.
