Katya is an experienced investment professional who has been successfully originating, leading and managing equity investments across various infrastructure sectors for over 19 years. She is currently a Portfolio Manager at Aware Super, the third largest superannuation fund in Australia. Based in London, she is helping develop and grow Aware Super’s infrastructure investment platform in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Aware Super, she served as an Investment Director at one of the UK’s Local Government Pension Schemes, LPPI, overseeing its £3.0 billion portfolio of infrastructure fund, co-investments and direct investments. She was responsible for the origination, execution and management of the infrastructure portfolio and is tasked with leading deal teams through all stages of the investment process.

Prior to joining LPPI, Katya spent over 10 years working for Balfour Beatty Investments, the international infrastructure development and investment company. She has also worked at Bank of America Investment Bank in London and a boutique infrastructure advisory firm in the US.
