Created under the NSIA Act, the Authority oversees funds set aside from excess hydrocarbon revenues and invests them with a focus on stability, savings and infrastructure development.
NSIA operates three ring fenced funds. The Stabilisation Fund supports the government during times of fiscal pressure. The Future Generations Fund builds long term savings for future Nigerians. The Nigeria Infrastructure Fund focuses on transforming critical sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, technology, transport, power and industrialisation.
Anchored on strong governance and global best practice, NSIA is a signatory to the Santiago Principles and maintains a disciplined approach to investment management.
