Leonard Niesel is a Principal in the Infrastructure team at Mercer Alternatives based in Zürich. He is responsible for the sourcing and screening of infrastructure and sustainability-focused funds, primarily in Europe, as well as co-investments. He is a member of various portfolio construction groups, as well as a member the Mercer European Real Estate Ratings Review Committee. Before moving over to the infrastructure team in 2020, Mr. Niesel worked in Mercer’s investment consulting business, advising pension funds and endowments.
