Luca Lupo

Luca was appointed Senior Managing Director, Head of Europe, in March 2026. Based in London, he sits on the Infrastructure Management Committee and leads the regional infrastructure team, overseeing investment activities and a portfolio spanning six markets. Luca joined OMERS in 2022 to lead investment efforts in transportation and community infrastructure. He has played a key role across the European portfolio, including leading OMERS 2024 investment in Grandi Stazioni Retail, marking its entry into Italy, as well as supporting capital rotation and asset management initiatives. He serves on the boards of Grandi Stazioni Retail and Associated British Ports. Previously, Luca was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Across Morgan Stanley, Barclays and UBS, he advised on more than 30 transactions globally. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where he has also lectured in Corporate Finance.
