Marco is a GIP Partner and Head of Digital Infrastructure for Europe.

Marco joined the investment team in 2021 and currently serves on the supervisory board of Vantage Towers, following the $20 billion take private executed by GIP in 2023.

Prior to joining GIP, Marco was Managing Director in the investment team at OMERS Infrastructure for three years where he invested approximately $4 billion across three digital infrastructure investments. Previously, Marco was a Managing Director in the TMT group for four years and a Managing Director in the M&A Group for nine years, both at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Marco holds a degree in Economics and Finance from University of Rome and an MBA from Oxford University.
