Matthew R. Melton is a Managing Director of EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Mr. Melton supports all finance, administrative and accounting functions of EFM’s funds and portfolio companies. Prior to joining EnCap Flatrock Midstream in 2017, Mr. Melton was an investment banking associate in the Global Energy Group at Citigroup in Houston, where he focused on M&A advisory work as well as public and private capital raises. Prior to Citi, Mr. Melton was a senior analyst working in the Asset Management Group at Goldman Sachs, where he focused primarily on the sales effort for the MLP Energy Infrastructure Fund. Mr. Melton holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He currently serves on the board of directors of several EFM portfolio companies, including Aspen Midstream, LLC; Cardinal Midstream Partners IV, LLC; Edgewater Midstream, LLC; and Moda Midstream II, LLC.
