Michael Hoverman

Michael Hoverman leads Greystar’s Infrastructure Investment Management business alongside David Blackford and Simon Ang. Greystar's infrastructure leadership is responsible for leading and overseeing Greystar’s infrastructure team, portfolio construction, strategy, capital formation, investments, asset management and client service. Michael is a member of Greystar’s Investment Committee for infrastructure and ESG Advisory Group. Michael has over 20 years of private markets experience, including 19 years in infrastructure.

Prior to Greystar, Michael was a Principal (Partner) at CIM Group where he was a leader in the growth of CIM’s infrastructure platform from 2014-2024. Michael served as a member of CIM’s Investment Committee, Management Committee, and ESG Committee. Prior to CIM, Michael was a Vice President at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets where he worked on infrastructure investments in digital infrastructure, regulated utilities, renewable energy, waste management and transportation.

Michael holds a Master of Finance (Investment Banking) degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College. Michael holds current Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses with FINRA.
