Pål Ringholm

Pål Ringholm has more than 30 years of experience in the Norwegian banking and financial services industry, including many years as an analyst and strategist in investment banking. He won every annual ranking of Norway’s Best Credit Analyst from the time the business magazine Kapital introduced the award until he stepped down from his analyst role several years ago. Ringholm has also consistently ranked among Norway’s top macroeconomists and equity strategists and has been recognized as Norway’s Best Financial Analyst across all categories.

Ringholm was one of the few finance professionals included in the book Makteliten – Norges 252 mest innflytelsesrike personer (“The Power Elite – Norway’s 252 Most Influential People”). In 2026, he was also featured in the book Menn som inspirerer Norge (“Norway's Men of Influence”), a collection profiling 30 influential contemporary Norwegian men. He currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Formue, one of the leading private wealth management firms in the Nordic region, with approximately NOK 210 billion in assets under management.

He is also the author of two bestsellers - Rik på Gjeld (“Rich in Debt”) and Rik (“Rich”).
