Managing Director , CBRE Investment management

- Robert Shaw is a Managing Director with CBRE Investment Management's Private Infrastructure business and is focused exclusively on the direct infrastructure investment program. Prior to joining the direct infrastructure team, Rob was Senior Director, Legal, where he led the private infrastructure legal department and advised the investment teams on the structuring and execution of investment opportunities.

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2018, Rob practised law at Tory's LLP, with a focus on infrastructure and private equity mergers and acquisitions. During his time at Tory's, Rob represented CBRE Investment Management and several other leading funds, pension plans and institutional investors.

Rob earned his Juris Doctor and Master’s in Business Administration from Osgood Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University. Rob also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours from Queen’s University, where he was recognised as a CIS Academic All-Canadian while playing varsity basketball for the Golden Gaels.
