Head of Global Infrastructure , QIC

Ross Israel co‑founded QIC’s Infrastructure business in 2006 and continues to lead the team, which currently manages a A$42billion portfolio comprising 21 direct investments across offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, New York and London.

As a member of the QIC Infrastructure Investment Committee, Ross oversees all investments made by the team. He also serves on QIC’s Executive Committee.

With more than 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and funds management, Ross brings deep expertise in infrastructure investing, asset management, capital raising and M&A. Prior to joining QIC, he was Chief Operating Officer at DUET, an ASX listed fund, and had roles at AMP Capital, ABN AMRO and BZW Barclays.

Ross has held board roles in Generate Capital, CenTrio, Port of Brisbane, Brisbane Airport, Queensland Motorways, Powerco, Pacific Energy and Lochard Energy.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and is a Senior Fellow of FINSIA.
