Tavis Cannell

Global Head of Infrastructure , Goldman Sachs Alternatives

Tavis is global head of Infrastructure within Goldman Sachs Alternatives. He is a member of the Infrastructure and Real Estate Investment committees.

Prior to his current role, Tavis was co-head of the EMEA Real Estate investing business. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an executive director in the European Special Situations Group. Tavis was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Tavis worked at Morgan Stanley in London and Paris, and at AFEX Group, a remote site logistics company based in Nairobi.

Tavis serves on the boards of several portfolio companies, and on the board of the Global Infrastructure Investor Association.

Tavis earned a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University and London Business School.
