Vivek Sapra is an Energy & Infrastructure project finance specialist and independent board director for project companies, with over 25 years’ experience in advising & structuring transactions. His main role is with the Infrastructure Investments team at Talanx Group – Ampega Asset Management GmbH, which he joined in April 2015, with the mandate to advise, originate and execute transactions to help build the portfolio. Since an almost standing start, it now boasts investments made of over €5bn in infrastructure assets under management (both Debt and Equity) across a broad range of sectors, including in renewables, digital, transportation and social infrastructure.

During this period Vivek also spent a year at the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (now Ninety One with Investec Asset Management) focusing on renewables in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to this, Vivek spent 16 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. and before that, at Hyder Investments. Vivek is a qualified Chartered Engineer and holds an MBA (Finance) from Bayes Business School.
