Wayne Nelms
Wayne Nelms is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ornn, which builds the price benchmarks and financial products that let GPU compute be traded, hedged and financed like other infrastructure assets. He leads Ornn's index and market arm, working closely with GPU operators, traders, lenders and infrastructure investors on how compute rental rates and hardware residual values feed into the financing and valuation of compute assets. Before Ornn, Wayne worked as a quant trader at Susquehanna. He is a graduate of MIT.
Ornn
Ornn is building the financial market for GPU compute. Ornn Data publishes the Ornn Compute Price Indices (OCPI), transaction-based daily benchmarks for GPUs including the H100, H200 and B200, available on the Bloomberg Terminal and at data.ornn.com. Ornn Compute is a marketplace where operators sell capacity and buyers secure the compute they need, which also supplies the trades behind the index. Ornn has strong partnerships across the industry including GPU compute futures with ICE that reference OCPI. Ornn works with AI companies, neoclouds, data center operators, lenders and investors, and is based in New York.
