Mr. Riley serves on the Management Committee and is Head of Financial Sponsors, Infrastructure & Strategic Solutions in the Banking Division of Mizuho Americas. He joined Mizuho in 2018, where he covers key sponsor relationships and plays an instrumental role in the buildout of Mizuho's non-investment grade strategy and established the firm's infrastructure practices.
Mr. Riley led the KKR acquisition of Cordia in the district energy sector and has direct responsibility for KKR, GIP, Stonepeak, EIG, and iSquared, among others.
Prior to joining Mizuho, Mr. Riley was a Managing Director with Wells Fargo Securities where we worked since 2004, and was also a part of the Strategic Advisory Committee. Before Wells Fargo, Mr. Riley spent six years at Bear Stearns in the TMT group, and prior to that, was an Associate in the Real Estate Investment Banking team at Merrill Lynch.
He received a B.A. with Honors in History from Davidson College, as well as an MBA from Duke University.
