Co-Head Sustainability & Impact, Private Equity, Schroders Capital
Amara is Co-Head of Sustainability & Impact for Private Equity at Schroders Capital. In this role she is part of the Private Equity Investment Management team, where she and her team concentrate on integrating Sustainability & Impact practices into the private equity investment process. Prior to joining Schroders Capital in 2021, she worked as Deputy Head of ESG ratings for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and Head of Corporate Sustainability at Julius Baer. In her last role before joining Schroders Capital, she had her own consulting company, Blue Phoenix, focused on sustainable finance and investor communications.
