Catharina Landefeld

Catharina Landefeld is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sphere One, a London-based technology company developing institutional decision-assurance infrastructure. Sphere One focuses on a fundamental challenge in complex financial environments: ensuring that consequential decisions remain traceable, accountable and appropriately reassessed as the evidence and assumptions underpinning them evolve.

With more than 15 years of experience across insurance, risk management, governance and international business within Munich Re Group, Catharina has held strategic and leadership responsibilities spanning European markets. Her work combines institutional risk expertise with the development of technology designed to strengthen decision accountability in increasingly complex, AI-enabled environments.

She holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).
