Lukas Koston leads investor relations and ESG at T2Y Capital, which he joined four years ago at the firm's founding. He is responsible for T2Y's investor relations and for building the ESG framework underpinning its SFDR Article 9 fund – developing and embedding it across the full investment process and value creation, with a focus on strengthening, not burdening, the investment theses. Before joining T2Y, Lukas spent over four years as a transaction advisory professional at Deloitte and in UniCredit Bank AG's Inhouse Consulting team, focusing on M&A strategy and international transactions.

T2Y Capital is a buyout and selective growth investor in the energy transition and adjacent industries. Founded in 2024, the firm has executed four deals — Wetrax, Prime, Tretau, and Ackermann – as an SFDR Article 9 fund, with a proprietary impact framework embedded across the investment cycle and 30% of carried interest linked to impact KPIs. T2Y invests in European SMEs with €10–25m equity tickets (larger through co-investments) into proven technologies, established business models, strong management teams, and positive EBITDA. The focus is pan-European across the core value chain (energy storage, transportation, efficiency solutions) and the enabling value chain (smart grids, auxiliary components, sustainable materials). The team combines deep sector expertise in energy and industrial scale-up with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to value creation.
