Marie joined BNP Paribas Alts (ex AXA IM) in May 2023 as Chief Sustainability Officer for PRIME, a Private Markets platform with c. €50 billion of assets under management and an offering of diversified solutions through primaries, secondaries and co-investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, and private debt. She is overseeing Prime's ESG & sustainability strategy, ensuring that it is fully embedded in investment processes, due diligences and product design and adapted to the portfolios’ ambition and the deal types’ specificities. Leveraging on Prime’s long-term relationships with 200 GPs in Europe and Americas, Marie is also spearheading the annual data collection which spans over 500 funds as well as Prime’s engagement strategy with third-party managers with the ambition of fostering sustainability best practices in private markets. She manages a team of 5 ESG experts in Paris and London and an internal network of +25 ESG champions.

Prior to joining AXA IM Prime, Marie served as Managing Director and Head of ESG strategy for Europe and UK at the ACA Group consultancy firm. In this role, she managed multiple engagements across client segments including private equity, private debt and infrastructure investment firms and provided hands-on support for ESG strategy and integration, product development, risk assessment and compliance with ESG regulations.

Between 2016 and 2022, Marie spent over five years at the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investing (“PRI”) initiative, first as Head of France and Southern Europe where she supported over 300 investors with guidance as to ESG best practices and integration in public and private markets, and then as Director of Continental Europe. In this latter role, she was responsible for designing and implementing PRI’s European strategy, working with 1,300 investors across 11 countries.

Marie’s prior experience includes roles as the Head of Responsible Investments and ESG Integration at ECOFI (BPCE Group), Senior ESG Analyst at CM-CIC Market Solutions (Credit Mutuel CIC Group) and Sustainability Manager at PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Marie holds a Master of Science in Environment from the University of Kent (U.K.) and a pre-doctoral degree in Environmental Law from the Universite Pantheon Sorbonne university (Paris).
