Maximilian Kufer is Head of Sustainability Strategy for EMEA & Private Markets at Invesco. Based in London, he leads sustainability strategy across EMEA public market capabilities and Invesco's global private markets platform, helping to shape responsible investment practices, stewardship approaches, responses to regulatory developments and client sustainability priorities. He partners with investment teams and clients globally to support the integration of sustainability considerations across a diverse range of asset classes. Maximilian is a frequent speaker on sustainable investing, private markets and the evolving role of sustainability in investment decision-making. He is actively involved in industry initiatives and working groups, contributing to discussions on responsible investment, sustainability regulation and market best practices. Prior to joining Invesco, he held sustainability leadership roles at AXA Investment Managers Alts. He holds degrees in Finance and Environmental Science, as well as a Master's degree in Finance.
