Milena Grul

Milena Grul is COO of Climax, a carbon accounting platform for private equity funds and their portfolio companies. She joined Climax as its first employee shortly after it was founded in 2021. Before that she worked in telecommunications and built corporate start-ups in sectors from retail to fintech.

Milena focuses on turning carbon data into decisions that hold up under scrutiny. She leads Climax’s work with portfolio companies on GHG footprints, SBTi targets and decarbonisation pathways, and helps investment teams use those insights across the portfolio. Her current focus is exit readiness: making sure carbon performance, and the business value of reductions, is evidenced well before a sale process starts.
