Pell George is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and co-head of the Responsible Investing & ESG team. In his role, he focuses on ESG-related initiatives across the firm’s private equity strategies, including GP Strategic Capital, Strategic Equity, and Healthcare Opportunities.
Before joining Blue Owl, Pell led ESG integration for Nuveen. Prior to that, he was the Head of ESG Investment Integration at Barings and was previously a member of the private equity / real assets team. Pell began his career in international development, advising large-scale infrastructure, agribusiness, and public health programs in emerging and frontier markets.
