Theophile Bellouard
Théophile leads Altitude, a decision infrastructure for climate resilience that combines SaaS and expert advisory. Global investors have used the Altitude platform for four years, covering more than $2.5 trillion in assets under management. It helps them measure physical climate risk, nature-related risk and adaptation needs across funds, portfolio companies and real assets.
Altitude was launched within AXA Climate, where it became the fourth business unit alongside insurance, training and consulting, leveraging the insurer expertise and data from AXA.
Before Altitude, Théophile launched AXA Climate's consulting offer in 2020 and then led its Financial Services practice. His expertise covers infrastructure, climate adaptation, nature-related risks and biodiversity footprints.
He started his career at ZnR Batteries, an EDF spin-off. He then founded Storm Energy, a start-up offering storage as a service, and worked as a consultant at Polyconseil before joining AXA.
Théophile holds energy engineering degrees from École Polytechnique (Paris) and DTU (Copenhagen).
