Tim Barlow

Tim Barlow is an Executive Director at MSCI, where he leads physical risk product strategy and development, building relationships with key clients and partners across EMEA and APAC. He is responsible for accelerating MSCI's expansion into new markets and refining the physical risk offering to meet global customer needs.

Tim was formerly Managing Director, Portfolio Value Creation at CPPIB, covering physical risk and decarbonisation across private markets. Before that, he worked in CPPIB's Sustainable Investing team on sustainability integration across global real estate, and in its Real Estate Equity team on investments and portfolio management across Continental Europe. He also worked at Grosvenor in its London Estate and Fund Management businesses.

Tim holds a BSc (Hons) from Edinburgh University and an MSc in Real Estate Finance from the University of Reading and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
