Avanthi Shah

Avanthi Shah is the Founder and Managing Partner of NextVerse Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture firm investing in seed-stage companies at the convergence of artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a technologist, operator and entrepreneur, including building technology ventures, advising Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations, and leading teams of approximately 200 engineers.

For more than nine years, Avanthi has participated in venture investment committees, evaluating early-stage companies and translating technical breakthroughs into commercially viable businesses. Her investment perspective focuses on the enabling layers of deep technology and on opportunities that can create value before fault-tolerant quantum computing reaches scale.

Avanthi serves on the Board and Audit Committee of FINCA International. She is a Bloomberg New Voices media-training alumna, a CNBC-TV18 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and a member of YPO. She speaks on AI-quantum convergence, deep-tech commercialization, industrial policy, cybersecurity and the investment risks surrounding critical technologies.
