Brian Vo
Brian Vo leads Connect Humanity’s investment efforts to expand digital infrastructure for underserved and vulnerable communities. With more than two decades of experience in investment and strategy, he has overseen over $7 billion in direct transactions spanning private equity as well as impact debt and equity.
Before joining Connect Humanity, Brian served as Vice President of Social Investment and Innovative Finance at Pact, Inc., a global development NGO, where he led the Ventures team to advance Pact’s mission through innovative financial mechanisms. Earlier in his career, he was a Director at Quantified Ventures, designing outcomes-based transactions for social enterprises, and a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on economic development, growth strategy, capital allocation, and transaction structuring. He began his career with Macquarie’s Private Equity Group and Jefferies & Company Investment Bank.
Brian serves on the boards of Pacific Community Ventures, the American Association for Public Broadband, Public Knowledge, and if, A Foundation for Radical Possibility. He holds both an MBA and a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
