Cynthia Liu is Managing Partner of NuHo Capital, a private investment firm buying legacy businesses and investing in category-defining startups and funds across all industry sectors with expertise and a focus on the health value chain. With over 15 years of experience in quantitative investing, distressed credit, M&A, and corporate venture capital, she brings hands-on expertise across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Previously, Cynthia built machine learning trading algorithms at Whitebox Advisors ($9B+ hedge fund) and led corporate development deals at Delta Dental, where she co-founded Abōva Inc. At Cargill Ventures, Cynthia invested in and served on the boards of Flyability (Switzerland—automated inspection drones), Andes Bio (U.S.—bio-based carbon removal), and ProfilePrint (Singapore—AI-driven ingredient quality). She also backed a handful of additional portfolio companies. Structured many strategic partnerships that generated hundreds of millions in value and enabled portfolio companies to raise billions of capital in total.

Cynthia holds a Master's in Financial Mathematics and combines quantitative rigor with hands-on execution.
