Daniel is a Managing Director within our M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) group and is co-head of the Canadian AMATS practice. In this role he is responsible for both Canadian representations and warranties (R&W) insurance placements and assisting Canadian clients with their transactions globally. He is supported by a team of professionals across North America and colleagues in EMEA, APAC and Bermuda who focus exclusively on transactional risk transfer. These solutions include the deployment of insurance capital for M&A transactions through R&W, tax, litigation and other contingent liability insurance.

Expertise

Prior to joining Aon in 2019, Dan was a senior associate with Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto, where he specialized in M&A, private equity, securities law matters, and corporate finance, serving clients across a range of wide range of industries.
