Hadley Ma is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ferghana Investment Partners, an emerging private capital firm focused on providing hybrid capital solutions to founder-led and middle-market businesses. Prior to founding Ferghana, Hadley was a Senior Managing Director at MGG Investment Group, a private credit firm with approximately $6 billion in AUM. He joined MGG at inception as the firm’s second investment professional and helped build the platform into a scaled hybrid capital investor, leading origination and underwriting efforts and contributing to the deployment of billions of dollars across the middle market.
Earlier in his career, Hadley worked at TPG Sixth Street Partners, where he sourced and evaluated specialty credit opportunities across primary and secondary markets, including distressed situations, recapitalizations, and rescue financings. At the time, Hadley was the 12th investment professional hired as the platform was scaling.
He began his career at Oaktree Capital Management, one of the leading credit firms in the U.S. with approximately $50 billion in assets under management at the time, and previously worked as an analyst at JPMorgan Securities in the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance / Financial Sponsors Group.
Hadley holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
